SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
Shipping Policy
Standard shipping is $6.95 for items shipped to a single address within the continental United States. Orderes shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or internationally will incur actual shipping charges regardless of the order total. Mother Earth Nursery Designs, LLC can also ship in-stock items by express methods to anywhere in the United States. Customers will be charged actual shipping on all orders delivered by express methods.
The flat rate shipping does not apply to express delivery. Customers will be charged actual shipping rates for express shipments. Some items offered on our website are in stock while others ship from the manufacturer which allows us to offer the best pricing. Look for the “Rush Delivery Available” icon in the product details for items available for express delivery.
If an item is in stock, it will be sent by the most cost effective major carrier either the same day if order is received before 12:00 pm EST or the following day. Items shipping from the manufacturer may take longer to receive and are subject to the manufacturers shipping policy. We will notify you when your order has been shipped. Please keep in mind that cribs are custom made after your order has been placed and may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. For UPS shipments, you will receive a tracking number by email which you can use to track your shipment.
Returns Policy
We handle all our customer service directly. We want you to have a wonderful experience shopping with us. If we can be of any assistance to you, please contact us. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and to feel comfortable recommending our site to friends and family.
Please inspect the items you have ordered immediately upon delivery. Depending on the type of item ordered, you may be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt from UPS or the truck freight company.
Please note any damage on this receipt. If refusing a delivery due to damage please note that you have refused the shipment due to damage on the receipt. If you have a large shipment that is delivered by truck freight instead of UPS, please inspect the merchandise thoroughly prior to the truck's departure and do not accept damaged shipments.
All Products are covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for help with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company.
We will assist you in getting these matters resolved.
In the rare event that you experience damage in your shipment, please be sure to note it on the delivery paperwork you sign and contact us as soon as possible. If the carton is obviously severely damaged, please refuse the shipment. We will arrange for a replacement or replacement parts to be rushed out. We will take the quickest route to remedy the situation. In the event a replacement is delivered to you before original shipment is returned, you are responsible for cooperating with the return of the item. Failure to return the damaged item will cause us to charge your credit card for the non-returned item.
If we are able to cancel your order before it is shipped or manufactured, there is no charge for the cancellation and you will receive a full refund.
If the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for round-trip (inbound and outbound) shipping charges. These charges will be deducted from your refund. Please contact us via phone or email and we will assess the situation and resolve it.
We want you to be happy with the merchandise you order therefore you may return or exchange any item within 30 days of purchase.
Please remember that we are always willing to provide assistance so that you can avoid returns by selecting the right products for your needs.
We understand that sometimes a return is inevitable. If a product is being returned because it is defective, it is covered by the Manufacturers' Warranties and you will not be responsible for shipping charges or any other charges on defective returns that are under warranty. If the wrong item is sent due to our error, you will also not be responsible for return shipping charges. If only one item from a multi-item shipment is defective, you will be reimbursed only for the shipping fee for the item you returned and not the shipping charges from the entire original order.
Please contact us first before sending any product back. Items shipped to you directly from the manufacturer must be returned to manufacturer and may require an authorization number.
We will assist you in facilitating the return.
If the product is not defective but you want to return it, then you are responsible for round-trip shipping charges on the returned items if the items you ordered have already been shipped to you. Some manufacturers may also require that we deduct a restocking fee from your refund for products which are not defective. The restocking fee is set by the manufacturer and it is between 10% and 30% of the cost of the returned item. Please contact us and we will assess your situation.
Cancellations or returns must be authorized in advance by us and you will receive an RGA number and a return shipping address.
All returns are shipped to the location specified by our customer service representative, not necessarily to Mother Earth Nursery Designs, LLC. Any returns must be in their original packaging, so don't throw the packaging away if you intend to return the item. Non-defective items will not be authorized for return after 30 days from the delivery date..
Once Mother Earth Nursery Designs, LLC or the manufacturer have received and processed a returned item, we will notify you via e-mail of your refund. In most cases, we will issue a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 1 to 2 business days of our receiving your return. If you paid directly from your bank account, it may take up to 5 additional business days for the credit to be posted to your bank account. Refunds may not exceed price paid for item.
